Frequently Asked Questions

Most chiropractic offices are built around volume — see as many patients as possible, give everyone a quick adjustment, and move on. That model produces temporary relief at best. At Ascend, every patient starts with a full 45-minute movement assessment so Dr. Hall can identify exactly what's driving the problem — not just where it hurts. You then come back for a dedicated Report of Findings where Dr. Hall walks you through everything he found and presents your specific treatment plan with clear goals and realistic timelines. Treatment visits are a full 60 minutes and combine chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercise, and rehabilitation based on what your body needs that day. The goal isn't to keep you coming in forever — it's to fix the actual problem and give you the tools to stay out of pain long after treatment ends.

Your first visit is a 45-minute new patient evaluation. Dr. Hall will take a complete history and put you through a detailed functional movement assessment — evaluating not just where you hurt but how your entire body moves, where you compensate, and what's actually driving your pain or limiting your performance. You will not be rushed. Most patients tell us they've never been evaluated this thoroughly by any provider. From that assessment, Dr. Hall builds your personalized treatment plan and you return for a separate Report of Findings appointment where he walks you through exactly what he found, what it means, and precisely what the plan looks like going forward. In most cases treatment begins at that second visit.

Absolutely not. While Dr. Hall has a deep background in sports medicine and works with competitive athletes at every level, the majority of his patients are everyday active adults — people who work hard, stay active, and want to feel and move well for the long term. If you have pain, limited movement, or a body that isn't performing the way it should, Ascend is built for you regardless of whether you compete in any sport. That said, if you are an athlete — youth, high school, collegiate, or adult competitive — this is exactly the environment built for you.

The Athlete Performance Screen is a 30-minute objective assessment using Vald performance technology — including force plates, HumanTrak movement analysis, and Dynamo strength testing — to measure how an athlete's body moves, produces force, and absorbs impact. It identifies strength imbalances, movement compensations, and injury risk factors that are invisible to the naked eye but directly predictive of future injury. It is ideal for competitive youth and high school athletes entering a new season, athletes returning from injury who want to confirm they are genuinely ready to compete, and any athlete who wants to know exactly where their body stands and what needs attention. At $50 for 30 minutes it is one of the most valuable investments a sports family can make in their athlete's health and career.

No referral is needed for any service at Ascend — chiropractic care, recovery sessions, or the athlete performance screen.
